InfoCenter RM - Item Request |
The RM item request dialog has been enhanced to show these additional details for the specific item:
- Displays the current request for the item when creating a new Request
- Allows the user requesting the item to:
- Select a period when it is not currently scheduled to be loaned
- o Reach out to the individual who has a request for the same period

Search for FilePart |
When profiling a document or editing an existing document profile and selecting the FilePart – FileCode lookup the user no longer needs to browse the structure to find the FilePart.
The user can search the following fields to find the FilePart: • File part number • Category • File name • Part name • Description

Redirect DRF to InfoCenter Web |
Currently if the user selects a DRF with the InfoCenter clients installed and they do not have an active InfoCenter Web session they receive this message - Please log in to eDOCS InfoCenter and try again.
In 25.1 the user will be redirected to the InfoCenter Web site to login with the new configuration setting. • The document in the DRF will be opened • They will be directed to the Folder or Workspace in the DRF
This functionality is enabled with the following configuration steps.
1. Edit the “Sample 25.1 config - DRF Redirect.json” file that is included in the “eDOCS 25.1 Sample InfoCenter json configuration files.zip” in the release packaging. 2. Change the “WebClientBaseUrl” setting to your InfoCenter Web site a. "WebClientBaseUrl": "https://your_InfoCenter_Web_server:port" 3. Save the file as config.json 4. Deploy the file to the user’s desktop in the following location a. %appdata%\OpenText\DM\PFTA

Saved Search sort order |
When the user opens the Saved Search tile and they change the sort order for their saved searches, the sort order they selected will be maintained when they subsequently reopen the Saved Search tile or select the drop down from the search menu bar to access their saved searches.

InfoCenter office support in no internet environment |
The InfoCenter Office clients require access to the Microsoft Office.js components from the Microsoft site for the InfoCenter panel to display and features to function. The InfoCenter Web installer includes the scripts to download the Office.js files that can be deployed on the InfoCenter Web server and the InfoCenter Office clients will use the version on the server. Steps to implement:
1. The scripts readme information is in the C:\Program Files\Open Text\eDOCS IC Web Browser\assets\OfficeJS_Downloader directory. 2. An administrator will need to copy the scripts to a system with internet access 3. The scripts will download the Office-js components and package them in a zip file 4. The zip file needs to be copied to the InfoCenter web server and unzipped 5. The files need to be copied to C:\Program Files\Open Text\eDOCS IC Web Browser\assets 6. Their location will be C:\Program Files\Open Text\eDOCS IC Web Browser\assets\office-js 7. The InfoCenter Web and REST API need to be restarted

InfoCenter Core Share integration enhancements |
The InfoCenter integration with OpenText Core Share has been enhanced to allow the user to perform the Sharing from within the Core Share tile.
When accessing Share, they will be able to:

Microsoft Office and Outlook support |
InfoCenter for Office and Outlook requires a version of Office that includes Edge Chromium and WebView 2 for the Office Add-ins feature. Office versions that are using Trident and Internet Explorer for the Office Add-ins feature need to use InfoCenter for Office 23.3 or prior.
